Rugby Club Bystrc - Brno

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a new sport facilities for Rugby Club Bystrc in Brno. The existing building was built by self-help in the middle of the last century and is already statically, dispositionally and architecturally inconvenient. Therefore, the demolition and construction of a two-storey new building on a rectangular floor plan and projecting entrance part was proposed. The owner's wishes were new changing rooms, a buffet, a sauna, an occasional accommodation, a gym, a fitness room, a combat mat and a running track. All in one object. On the first floor there is a foyer, which is followed by changing rooms, sauna and buffet. Accommodation is accessible by a separate entrance or from the changing rooms. On the second floor there is a gym, fitness, combat mat, running track and changing rooms. The structural system is a transverse wall system on cast-in-place reinforced slabs are placed. The building is covered with a flat roof placed on glue laminated girder.

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a multi-purpose building, which will be used mainly for long-term housing. In order to create a space for use in administrative work in the area, the building also considers the area for this activity. For this purpose, the land was perfectly suited to the function of the future building on the fringe of the town Nové Mesto nad Váhom. The land is flat, located in a built-up area with family and apartment houses, on the corner of streets named Bzinská and Odnrej Plachý. The place in the nineties served as a public city swimming pool for recreation and sport. The land has been unused since the end of this activity. Therefore, the intention of the building would not only be enriched by the housing stock of the city, but also the value of the dilapidating land would increase. The building is designed as a detached storey house with one underground and four above-ground floors. It is divided into a residential part and an administrative part with separate entrances. The building is covered with a flat single-skin roof with attic around the perimeter. All entrances to the building are designed as barrier-free. The residential area on the ground floor contains a housing unit and its facilities and equipment designed for three people with limited mobility and orientation. Other higher floors have two apartments for four people. The apartment part includes a basement, where each apartment is assigned a cellar. Furthermore, in the basement there are common areas for residents such as a workshop, a store of common garden furniture and tools, a gym with sanitary facilities and a common room with a toilet. There is an elevator machine room, a boiler room and a cleaning room with the facilities of the operators in which only authorized persons will have access to the facility. Analysis of the Highest and Best Use of a Plot in Zlín-Jižní Svahy

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of analysis of the highest and best use (abbreviated as HABU). In the theoretical research, this method is described, and defines the solution process using 4 basic steps, namely legal admissibility, physical possibilities, financial justification, and maximum profitability. Subsequently, this method is applied to a specific plot in Zlín-Jižní svahy area. The solution proposes 9 variants of utilization of this land. Using the HABU method we are looking for the best use, which in turn brings the investor the highest profit. The aim of the thesis is also a clear description and practical demonstration of the application of this method, which has not been represented in the Czech Republic so far. It can thus help to understand and use it in property valuation.
Multifunctional Building

The subject of the diploma thesis is the preparation of project documentation for a building permit for a multi-purpose building in Havlíčková Brod. The multipurpose building is designed as a four-story basement building. There is a cafe on the first floor. In the other above-ground floors, there are administrative spaces. In the underground floor there is a collective garage with 30 parking spaces (of which two are reserved for the disabled), a boiler room and an engine room. The vertical structural system is designed as a skeleton with infill masonry. The horizontal supporting structures consist of reinforced concrete locally supported ceiling slabs. The roofing is designed as a single-layer flat green roof.
